Bio:

A Trandoshan able to match a Wookie in Unarmed Combat, Ssurk built up quite the Mercenary reputation in the Empire, performing anything from full-scale raids to bounties, usually when Wookies were involved. Eventually, Ssurk would find himself captured in a failed hit going after a Wookie insurgent leader who had been making a habit of being a particularly painful thorn in the Empire’s backside. This Wookie, Chawnacca, would become Ssurk’s second reason for living. For so humiliating Ssurk, he vowed that should he find a way to escape he would take his revenge. Nowhere in the Galaxy will Chawnacca be able to hide. Not forever.

Seething over his failure, awaiting his death, he was roused from his thoughts by a commotion outside of his makeshift cell. Thinking his captors had finally come for him, he was greeted instead by a human. Bearing scorch marks and other signs of having been in a fight, the human freed Ssurk of his binds and they made their escape. Later on, the human introduced himself as Rogark Thane, a Bounty Hunter himself.

Ssurk did not ask what Rogark Thane was doing there, or why he saved him, choosing instead to thank the Scorekeeper at this opportunity to restore his honor and regain the Jagannath Points he accrued over his, up until his capture, formidable career by finding and slaying Chawnacca. Ssurk thanked Rogark, declaring him “Ghrakhowsk” for saving him from capture, and, most assuredly, certain death. Seeing the confusion written plain on Rogark’s face, Ssurk explained that in saving his life, he is now indebted to Rogark. A Life Debt, in which Ssurk is to pledge his life to protect and look after his savior. Even if it means sacrificing his own life to do so.

This would be Ssurk’s first reason for living.
